Projects > Hawera Community Hub - Te Ramanui

Completed in 2024, Te Ramanui is the new community hub for Hawera. The building houses the public library, I-site and AA centre, a gallery and community meeting spaces. A cafe is also integrated in the building. 335 provided the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical services design and oversaw the installations during construction. The project features a hydronic heating and chilled water system, comprising a heat pump, a chiller and fan coil units. A 20m2 photovoltaic system on the roof is generating power and substitutes the daily demand of the building. Rainwater is harvested in a old and converted stainless steel milktank, external to the building. Rainwater is used for flushing and irrigation services.
